1-3 SEPTEMBER 2017

SPECIAL OFFER: The first 10 people in each Bristol postcode sign up for FREE!

Bristol Art Trail offers the opportunity for everyone living and working within a Bristol postcode to open their home, studio, shop or gallery to the public. In creating Bristol Art Trail we wish to support the creative community throughout the City from the centre to the edges. We have made the first 10 memberships within each postcode area free to encourage sign ups and help initiate mini art trails as part of a wider event. There is no selection process, the only criteria is that you must have a Bristol postcode and work within an art & design discipline.

Bristol Art Trail is a passion project without funding or start up capital so we are relying on the community to join in and help create a new outlet for people to showcase their work as part of a wider network across the City.

MEET THE BRISTOL ART TRAIL TEAM:

Sophie Rees

Having worked for many years curating public art and events, I have first hand experience of supporting artists and developing programmes for public engagement.

I began the Bristol Art Trail based on personal experience of not being able to join my local art trail because they were fully subscribed.

I run Designers/Makers  curating events in collaboration with arts venues including Design Museum London and Old Truman Brewery..

Sam Malloy

I have lived and worked in Bristol for many years and enjoy running a socialising MeetUp group 'Bristol Fun and Adventures' (shameless plug).

After working for big Software corporations during my 20's, I decided to start freelancing and working on something more meaningful.

I have enjoyed creating the Bristol Art Trail app and look forward to further developing it to support local artists and engage the public using modern tech.
